Additional Information

When publishing symbols like hatch and marker fills from ArcGIS Pro, ensure that 'Use symbol types compatible with all clients' is unchecked. This writes the expected symbology in the web map and/or layer item level, which Map Viewer honors. However, Map Viewer Classic does not support these symbols.
