Publishing a map service with a simple definition query containing parenthesis returns the following error message, "Error 001272: Analyzer errors were encountered (codes=7)."

This issue was logged against a version of the software which is no longer supported, and has not had activity in some time. - Register the OLE DB connection with ArcGIS Server.
- Create a service definition file with 'No available connection' and upload it to the server.
