Bug

Publishing a CSV file using a custom locator shows a normal behaviour. However, publishing an XLS file with the same data as the CSV file, and using the same locators shows a different behavior with inaccurate suggestions after reviewing the data.

Additional Information

This is not reproducible in ArcGIS Enterprise versions 10.9 or newer.

Workaround

  1. Before publishing, use the Esri locator ArcGIS World Geocoding Service.
  2. Mark the custom locator after publishing and accessing the map.
