Additional Information
The radial and extension effect are not supported in the JavaScript Maps SDK which is why any 4.x app does not load and render a feature styled with these effects as expected. Refer to https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/api-reference/esri-symbols-CIMSymbol.html#CIMGeometricEffect for more information.
Workaround
- Publish the layer as a web feature layer from ArcGIS Pro.
- Share the map as a web map to ArcGIS Online (or ArcGIS Enterprise).
- Use the Save Web Map option to update the hosted feature layer's symbology in ArcGIS Pro.
- Publish the layer as a web tile or vector tile layer to ArcGIS Online.
