This issue is non-reproducible.

Workaround

  • Save PowerPoint slide as a JPG instead of a PNG.
  • Set the image size to 'Medium' or 'Large' while editing in ArcGIS StoryMaps (Windows).
  • Use a screenshot app (such as Snagit) to screenshot the image, and upload the screenshot as a PNG.
