Overwriting map services that are published from ArcGIS Pro 2.5 to ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1 and then upgrading to ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8 results in the generic error: "code 001369", when overwriting and splits the map service into two map services, resulting in the corruption of both map services.

Additional Information

Refer to the provided workaround to correct the thumbnails on services prior to overwriting. This issue cannot be addressed with a technical fix on the client.

Run the python script. Refer to the knowledge base: support.esri.com/en/Technical-Article/000024415 for instructions.
