Bug
On some configurations, the feature in ArcMap 9.2 to zoom in/out by rolling mouse wheel does not work. It works when holding down SHIFT or CTRL, but does not work by itself. It works OK in other applications like ArcGIS Explorer and in the ArcMap Viewer window. It seems to be related to the fact that ArcMap's main window has scroll bars.
