On a Dell Precision M4800 laptop, the V shortcut key does not work in conjunction with the laptop's mousepad to rotate and pivot the scene.

This issue is caused by a setting in touch pad drivers to prevent accidentally pressing the touch pad while typing. The touch pad settings can be changed to allow using the touch pad while pressing keyboard keys. How to change these settings will depend on the type of laptop and drivers being used.Workaround
