Additional Information

This is a design choice based on the architecture of ArcGIS Pro. Unlike running Jupyter notebooks in the default browser environment where notebooks are sandboxed, notebooks in ArcGIS Pro share resources including namespace and execution thread.

Workaround

Running the '%reset -f' command clears the workspace.
