Multiline text questions created through the ArcGIS Survey123 web designer display an inconsistent character limit between the field app and the web app or browser versions of the same survey.

Workaround

If modifying the field length in any way prior to publishing, the issue does not occur, even by only clicking the mouse into the 'Field length' box but not changing the character limit.
