Modifying a Python toolbox in ArcGIS Pro 3.2 to define an input parameter of the GPMultiValue:GPString data type and publishing it as a secured geoprocessing service causes ArcGIS Pro 3.2 to crash or return the error message, "Tool has failed to open" when the tool is shared to ArcGIS Online and accessed through the Portal tab in the Catalog pane in ArcGIS Pro 3.2.

Additional Information

This issue is fixed in ArcGIS Pro 3.3 and will be in a future patch for ArcGIS Pro 3.2.

Workaround

Open the tool in an older version of ArcGIS Pro such as ArcGIS Pro 3.1.1 or if the service is added as a new ArcGIS Server connection in ArcGIS Pro 3.2.
