Minimum point elevation (Z) value is not changing in layer symbology though the points with minimum elevation are removed from LAS dataset.

Additional Information

Simply changing the points to Noise class (code 7) doesn't mean they aren't a part of the dataset anymore. Please refer to the workarounds.

Workaround

Note from Raghav (8/26/2013):If you simply change the points to "Noise" class, the points are still considered a part of the data. One way to get around this is by flagging the points as 'Withheld' which is equivalent to deleting the points (although they are still present in the LAS file, we treat them as deleted points). Another way to get around it to some degree is by adjusting class breaks and TOC labels (By default, we use natural breaks on elevation to minimize the impact of outliers).
