Workaround

Use the ArcToolbox Highest/Lowest Point by Extent or Polygon instead.If the follwoing folders are read only or the user dont have write permission the tools will not work: %PROGRAMFILES%\ArcGIS\Desktop 10.0\bin%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\
