This issue is fixed in ArcGIS Pro 3.6.Workaround
The RAM usage is released when the application is closed, therefore a potential workaround is to close and reopen ArcGIS Pro when RAM usage gets too high. Alternatively, users can inspect the geometry of their layers by adding them to a map frame rather than through the catalog view.
