This is a known limitation. ArcGIS Pro now returns an error when a user publishes a web layer with the shape field set to not visible. The error is also documented here: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/sharing/analyzer-error-messages/00123-shape-field-is-not-visible.htm The shape field must be visible for the layer to work properly.Workaround
- Use a feature service instead of a map service.
- Leave the shape field visible when publishing.
