Map services published from ArcGIS Pro 2.5 to ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1 display a black thumbnail when overwriting them from ArcGIS Pro version 2.6 or newer.

Additional Information
This is a known limitation for ArcGIS Pro 2.5 and ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1, and has been addressed in later released versions. Web layers published with ArcGIS Pro 2.6 to ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1 or later do not have this issue. Use the workarounds described to update the thumbnails, refer to https://support.esri.com/en/Technical-Article/000024415 or upgrade to the latest released versions of ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise.Workaround
- Overwrite the map image layers with ArcGIS Pro 2.4.
- Replace the thumbnails manually.
