Fixed at ArcGIS 10.0Workaround
In ArcCatalog, change the UPPERCASE service string preix "SDE" in the connection properties to lowercase and click OK. Recreate the MXD as before and you should not encounter this warning.This warning may be ignored if a direct-connection is verified because this warning is being thrown in error.Steps to Reproduce
