Map documents that contain a raster image crash if the raster image is renamed from ArcCatalog.

Workaround

1. Create a new geodatabase in ArcSDE, and import the three-band raster image to be renamed. 2. Rename the three-band raster image with the same name as the four-band image.3. In ArcCatalog, right-click the map document (.mxd) and select Set Data Source and change the data source.
