Workaround
9.3 Workaround for manually entering Authorization information: 1. User encounters error in PI incorrectly stating that one or more fields are blank. Click OK to dismiss error. 2. Click Cancel to exit PI. 3. Run <Install Dir>/arcgis/arcims/tools/keymanager -o add -i <Install Dir>/ arcgis/arcims -f <FeatureName e.g., ArcIMSServer> -v <Version e.g., 93> -r <Registration Number e.g., ecp123456789> -t <Timeout e.g., 15-oct-2008> -k <License Key e.g., ABCDEFGHIJ1234567890>The user should see a message stating that the authorization for that feature was successful, in the format: Successfully added license for "FeatureName". 4. Repeat for each feature to authorize. 5. Rerun the PI with the command <Install Dir>/arcgis/arcims/tools/SetupArcIMS_PostInstall. This time the user should not be prompted to enter authorization information. This will be fixed for 9.4, with explanation text on the panel to describe how to correctly enter manual authorization information.
