Additional Information

PNG raster is a supported raster format and it must not be excluded from input validation. The difference in the result between raster layer input and a raster dataset input is that raster layer has additional renderer applied. This is an expected behaviour.

Workaround

The input data sources must be one of the following: 1. ArcMap document. 2. Mosaic layer. 3. Raster layer.
