Location Referencing ribbon tools do not recognize the linear referencing system (LRS) layers after changing the data sources from one service on one Portal to another service on a different Portal.

Workaround

1. Create a fresh ArcGIS Pro project, and add data from the new Portal environment.
2. Use Save To Layer File geoprocessing tool to create layer files from the old ArcGIS Pro project.
3. Use Apply Symbology From Layer geoprocessing tool to import layer symbology to feature layers in the new ArcGIS Pro project.

For multiple feature layers, automate the process using ModelBuilder or Script.
