- The load time is almost certainly a limitation of the software and likely has to do with the user's hardware as well.
- The simplest workaround is to upgrade to 10.9.1 as Dashboard performance was an area of focus for the update.
- The user themselves stated that they have been experimenting with the 10.9.1 Dashboard and have noted large performance increases over the 10.8.1 counterpart.
- The user was informed of this and requested that their issues with performance be noted as a bug/ Enhancement Request and stated that they will look further into the performance improvements associated with upgrading to 10.9.1.
