Additional Information

Because the option "Authorize your software from a local license server" was used in LM1 to obtain (or, in the description, "to deauthorize") licenses from LM2, this is not actually a deauthorization/return from LM2 back to LM1 but actually yet another forward transfer of licenses (essentially making LM1 also LM3). Furthermore, deauthorization between License Managers has to be done online. Only the initial License Manager used to originally get the licenses from Esri can be deauthorized offline. Thus, in this example. The user must use the 'Deauthorize' function in LM2 (NOT the option "Authorize your software from a local license server") to return 2 licenses back to LM1 via internal network TCP. At this point, all 6 original licenses can now be returned via the offline deauthorization method from LM1 back to Esri Customer Service.
