Leaving fields in a new related record blank that are esriFieldTypeSingle (ArcGIS Pro - Float) and esriFieldTypeDouble (ArcGIS Pro - Double) in Related Tables within ArcGIS Event Editor fail to save even with Allow Null values enabled.

Workaround

  • Inputting values for the fields with prompted error allows saving the new related records.
  • Edit the same related table in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Field Maps.
