Issue not reproducible in ArcGIS Pro 2.7 Beta.Workaround
1. Using 'Join field' instead of 'Add Join' (Alters the data)
- Join Field
- Select Layer by Attribute
- Select / Make Layer from Selected Features
- Feature Class to Feature Class
2. Export the joined feature class before creating the selection layer (Client currently uses this workaround)
- Add Join
- Feature Class to Feature Class
- Select Layer by Attribute
- Select / Make Layer from Selected Features
- Feature Class to Feature Class
* These workarounds might not be suitable options for user because the first one alters the data and the second one adds two extra steps to the workflow.
