Japanese field names appear garbled when shapefiles with the Shift-JIS character code are loaded in ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET (Xamarin.Forms.Shared) 100.2.

Additional Information

Shift-JIS encoded shapefiles are not supported with ArcGIS Runtime on non-Windows platforms. The recommended alternative solution is to open the shapefile with ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro and export the features as a new shapefile. By default this saves the shapefile with UTF-8 encoding.
