Workaround

- Don't use the same instance of ArcMAP for running the New Image Service Wizard repeatedly.- If the application crashes during the compilation phase of the wizard: reopen ArcMAP, add the new created ISDef, and click on "Image Service > Advanced > Compile" to manually compile the service.- If a failure is seen in the Wizard while "Adding raster datasets", start a new instance of ArcMAP and use Advanced options to create the service definition and to add datasets.
