Increased memory usage with the Make NetCDF Feature Layer tool in Python causes scripts to fail with the following error, "Error 999998: Unexpected Error after upgrading from 10.0.4."

Additional Information

This issue is non-reproducible in ArcGIS 10.3.

Workaround

Workaround 1: For ArcGIS for Desktop version 10, revert back to 10.0.4.Workaround 2: For ArcGIS for Desktop version 10.1, use the 64-bit Python to gain access to more memory.
