Inconsistent results returned from some ArcGIS for Server Geometry Service operations, when a polyline’s beginning and ending points are the same.

Additional Information

The Intersect and Difference operators outputs a simple polyline. The input polyline is non-simple. Use simple geometries as input.

Workaround

Add a very small amount to the coordinate of the ending point of the polyline (e.g. 0.0000001).
