In Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS, the Measurement widget only draws the reference lines for the first time while trying to define a polygon boundary for the area calculation.

Workaround

  • Deselecting and reselecting the area option in the widget shows the reference lines while trying to complete the polygon.
  • Closing and reopening the Measurement widget shows the reference lines while trying to complete the polygon.
