Bug

In the RoutePlanner web app of the Enterprise Route Management (ERM) solution, on the Routes page of a plan, when attempting to update the parameter 'Is Hard Zone', the expected value is Boolean. When attempting to update the value, in a row that has a preexisting, the result is correct. Click on the value, a drop down appears, and once selected, the value is updated on the table. When attempting to add in a new value on a row, clicking the row displays a text box instead of the drop down. The text box is free response, and once any appropriate Boolean value is inputted and updated, the results is an error message "Savings edits failed".

Additional Information

If a Route does not have a zone assigned, the 'Is Hard Zone' value cannot be set. The 'Is Hard Zone' attribute is not on the route feature, it is a relationship back to the zone's polygon. If there is no zone assigned, there is no feature to write that value back to. Some better error handlings are added in the future release to give a more descriptive message. Design assumes every route will have a zone and zones are assigned outside of the RoutePlanner. The field has a domain and requires a value, so none are blank. If there is a change in existing workflow, or new one, review with the Advantage Program Advisor to capture requirements.
