In the ArcIMS Manager, the PreviewMap and Define options do not display dynamic services on systems running IIS 5, IIS 6 or Classic mode of IIS 7.

Description
When using the ArcIMS Manager for the Microsoft .NET Framework, the Preview Map and Define options on the Layers tab do not display images for non-cached services. This problem occurs on Windows XP, Windows 2003, and on Vista/Windows 2008 when using the Classic mode of IIS 7.0.Cause
The ArcIMS Manager application is referencing an incorrect DLL version.Workaround
- Navigate to the web.config file that is installed with the ArcIMS Manager application. The following is an example of this path:
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ArcIMS\Manager\web.config - Open the web.config file in a text editor, such as Notepad.
- Search for the number 1542. The following line is located:
