In the ArcGIS Online map viewer, the pop-up window does not close when deleting a feature that is part of a group of coincident features, and the deleted feature is the farthest down in the attribute table.

Workaround

After clicking delete in the pop-up, use the scroll arrows to move to the next feature, or close the pop-up. The delete completes.
