In Survey123 Connect for ArcGIS, publishing a survey with a large choice list (more than 4000) returns an error when publishing, but the information on the cause of the error is not provided to users.

Additional Information

This error resulted from the process of creating the web form in Survey123 Connect for ArcGIS. As a workaround, users are now able to choose not to create the web form when publishing a survey (i.e. create an App only survey) and therefore the publishing error is avoided. This means that app only surveys with choice lists greater than 4000 in length can be published.
