In Portal for ArcGIS, the Group Filter widget in ArcGIS Web AppBuilder does not honor the filter set in the web map and displays all features in the drop-down list even though the features are not displayed on the map.

Additional Information
This issue is fixed where the values are strings and do not come from a domain. Note that there are limitations with domain values where all the values are listed even if they are filtered from the web map. Given the current designs, this is required since domain values may be shared between multiple layers being filtered.Workaround
Use the Filter widget instead of the Group Filter widget.
