Additional Information

Thumbnail images in the home app will always display with the pixel ratio stated when uploading the image (400x400 for groups and 600x400 for content). If the uploaded image is smaller than the suggested size or there is transparency, the blank space will be filled with grey. In addition to fulfilling the size/ratio requirements for the thumbnail, this grey background helps distinguish smaller thumbnail images on pages of the Portal Home Application that have white page backgrounds. If you wish to remove the grey background, you can resize your thumbnails to the suggested size/ratio or save your transparent PNG images in a different format.

Workaround

Modify the image to a square pixel size. For example, 400 x 400 and 1500 x 1500.
