In organizations with a large amount of content, sending queries to \usage via ArcGIS API for Python with large time frames (for example, one year) overwhelms database resources.

Additional Information

This is a known limitation of ArcGIS API for Python. Use user.usage_reports in 2.0.1 that is designed to handle large organizations.

Workaround

Ask for a smaller time frame when calling \usage.
