Workaround

Use Smart Map Search to extract the data. To do so, follow these steps:1. Click Explore Community > Smart Map Search.2. When the Criteria page opens, click 'Or choose from the full list of criteria'.3. In the search bar type: 'Low income'. and click Go.4. Select % Low Income & > 1 Mile from grocery store (USDA 2006). Click the right arrow to move it to the selected variables. Click Apply.5. In the Criteria page, click Next.6. In the next dialog box, select the appropriate geography level and make sure the matches are 100%. It should be automatically if the Distribution or the min/max values have not been adjusted.7. Click Show results on map.8. At the bottom of the page there is a tab. Click to expand it.9. This lists all the values in the extent by their geography that was picked. Click Export to Excel. The dialog box will open to allow the xls to be saved.
