In Collector Classic for ArcGIS (iOS), opening a related record-based ArcGIS Survey123 survey in the browser through a custom URL in a web map pop-up hangs indefinitely.

Additional Information

Collector Classic for ArcGIS (Android, iOS) has been retired and is no longer being updated. Esri recommends the ArcGIS Field Maps app as an alternative to Collector Classic as it combines the functionality of Classic Collector, Explorer, and Tracker. Note this issue does not apply to ArcGIS Collector.

Workaround

  • Use a custom URL that launches the survey in the mobile app
  • Use Collector for ArcGIS (Aurora).
