In Business Analyst 2012, trying to create a trade area based on drive times and using the Business Analyst Online API results in "Error 080002: Failed to build rings..."

Workaround

Option 1 - If Business Analyst 2011 is still installed:1. Under BA 2012 go to Preferences > Datasets > change the current dataset to BA 2011 data which is USA (ESRI).2. Close the BA 2012 map document and open the BA 2011 map document.3. Create the trade area using drive times and the BA Online API.4. Change the dataset back to BA 2012 under preferences and add the trade area to the BA 2012 map document.Option 2 - If Business Analyst 2011 is not available:1. Use "Standard Drive Times" or "Detailed Drive Times" instead of the BA Online API when creating the trade area.
