In ArcGIS Web AppBuilder, the Smart Editor widget shows inaccuracy if the 'Switch to multiline input when field length exceeds' option is checked.

Workaround
If the 'Switch to multiline input when field length exceeds' option is not checked, the Smart Editor widget works fine. Alternatively, if the text field in Step 1 (for the point layer) is created, the Smart Editor widget also works fine.
