Additional Information

The red bar at the top of the Smart Editor widget panel indicates that the widget is 'not active'. If the user clicks the widget, the bar becomes green and the widget is active. It can be used for creating and updating features. The user experience becomes confusing when a splash screen displays in the application, as it renders the Smart Editor widget inactive until the user clicks the widget panel. The user does not need to open or close the widget for it to work, but simply click the widget panel.

Workaround

  • Remove the splash screen.
  • Disable the Smart Editor widget.
