As noted in the WCAG doc (link: https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG22/Understanding/orientation.html#:~:text=Changes%20in%20content%20or%20functionality%20due%20to%20the%20size%20of%20display%20are%20not%20covered%20by%20this%20criterion%20which%20is%20focused%20on%20restrictions%20of%20orientation): Changes in content or functionality due to display size are not covered by this criterion, which focuses on orientation restrictions. The navigation dots are an additional mode of navigation provided for wider screens, but there is no restriction in view or operation in portrait mode.
