In ArcGIS Pro, when the annotation class is updated, it does not reflect any changes on the map.

Additional Information
When the annotation class id field is changed in the attribute table, the symbol is not automatically updated to the symbol for that annotation class. The symbolID field must also be changed. When the symbol for an annotation class is edited in the catalog view, a new symbol is created as the default for any new annotation features created for that class. It does not change the symbol that was originally used for that annotation class. You can view the symbols in the symbol collection when you are in the catalog view.
