This is as designed. The 2D layers group is rasterized and draped on the globe at multiple Level of Detail (LOD)s - it becomes raster data. When more than one LOD is displayed in a single scene, the width of the lines can change.Workaround
The suggested workaround is to either to use a 3D layers group to create a screen-sized lines, to use a real-world-size for the line or outline to ensure its size remains constant across LODs.
