In ArcGIS Pro, the Extract Data and Extract Data Task tools do not extract the correct features from a layer if the input layers to clip originate from a read-only or viewer connection to a SQL Server enterprise geodatabase.

Workaround

  1. The Extract Data and Extract Data Task tools work as expected when the data is added from each schema-owner's .sde connections.
  2. Change the name of the layer(s) in the Contents pane.
