In ArcGIS Pro, the 'Extend/Trim' tool continues to select layers that are marked as non-selectable.

This is snapping behavior not a selection.Workaround
Extend/Trim to the desired feature and ignore the "unselectable" feature. In regard to polygon issue, move the polygon to the bottom of the hierarchy and proceed.
