In ArcGIS Pro, the Create Relationship Class tool returns an error message, “ERROR 000177 Relationship classes can only be created in the same database that contains the feature classes or tables” or “ERROR 000139 feature classes or tables that are related can only be in the same database” when attempting to run the tool again after creating one relationship class using .sde connection file stored in a mapped network drive.

Workaround

Close the Create Relationship Class geoprocessing tool after creating one relationship class. To create another relationship class, run the tool again.?
