Additional Information
The behavior is as designed. The warning message is returned to inform users they are about to create features which may not be visible. The warning message is the resolution to having a feature template with a default value that does not match the unique value renderer.
In this case, the feature is not visible because the unique value renderer does not have that new value in the renderer.
Workaround
The user has two options to avoid the warning message on the template:
- After creating the feature, refresh the Symbology pane.
- Before or after creating the feature, manually add the value to the unique value renderer in the Symbology pane.
