| Version found | 3.1.2 |
| Operating System | Windows OS |
| Operating System Version | 10.0 64 Bit |
| Status | Non-Reproducible |
Workaround 1:
1. In the attribute table, clear the selection and delete Field2.
2. Go back to the model. Change the initial layer for the dummy layer (Layer2). Press OK. Then change it again back to Layer1.
3. Run the model.
4. Open the attribute table of Layer1. There is no selection. Field2 was added and populated correctly (to match Field1).
Workaround 2 (running the model as a tool):
1. Right-click on the models initial input and select Parameter.
2. Save the model.
3. Instead of running the process from the model, in the Catalog pane, right-click the model's name and select Open to open the tool.
4. Select Layer1 as the input and click to run the tool. Result is the tool can be run many times without running into the bug (and without changing the layer for a dummy layer in between each run).
